The Trusted Advisor with Jim Roddy – Vice President of Marketing for the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) is a new podcast and video series from the RSPA that began back in early October 2019.
The trusted advisor is described by Jim as a channel-focused podcast and video series driven by the Retail Solutions Provider Association (RSPA). The podcast is designed specifically for POS resellers and software developers, and the goal is to educate you on the topics of technology, leadership, management, sales, marketing, and other small business best practices.
To date, there are six episodes, and it appears they are releasing approximately four episodes per month. If you’re in the POS business, especially in a management or leadership position, I think this a great free resource where POS dealers and resellers should subscribe. Staying educated and up-to-date on the latest news and trends is critical for this fast-paced industry.
I have subscribed on Apple and so far have listened to the most recent podcast, but plan on listening to them all while I sit here working at my desk. In the latest episode (ep6), Jim speaks with John Kirk, president, and CEO of the RSPA. In the interview, Mr. Kirk talks about the current and future vision of the RSPA for 2020 and beyond. He also speaks to the vision on how the RSPA is of service to its members and the community.
Here’s a brief overview of the current and future vision – this is just a summary of the first few minutes of the interview. You can watch the full video here.
