How to Fix the Clover App Not Loading
1. Restart the Clover Device (Most Common Fix)
A simple reboot clears most app loading problems.
- Press and hold the power button
- Select Restart
- Wait for Clover to fully power back on
If Clover is frozen and won’t respond, perform a hard restart (see step #4).
2. Check Wi-Fi and Internet Connection
Clover must reach its servers during startup. If Wi-Fi or internet is unstable, the app may hang on the loading screen.
- Confirm Wi-Fi is turned on and connected
- Test internet on another device using the same network
- Restart your router or modem

3. Force Close and Reopen the Clover App
If the app is partially loaded or frozen, force closing it can clear the hang.
- Press the Home button
- Open the recent apps view
- Swipe away or close the Clover app
- Reopen the Clover app from the home screen
4. Hard Restart a Frozen Clover Device
If the startup screen is totally stuck, a hard restart is usually required.
- Hold the power button for 15–20 seconds
- Wait for the screen to go black
- Release the button, then power Clover back on

5. Check for Pending Clover Software Updates

- From the home screen, go to Settings → About

- Install updates and restart the device

6. Clear Cached Clover App Data

- Go to Apps
- Select the Clover app

Do not select Clear Data unless instructed by Clover support, as this can reset app settings.
