What is Thrive POS? Thrive POS, by Grandbury Solutions, has a long history of expertise serving pizza restaurants, and that’s the focus of their development. Thrive POS is explicitly built for pizza and delivery restaurants. Thrive offers a modern in-store POS solution with a branded online and mobile customer experience. iPad or Android workstations make for a cashier-friendly POS experience with integrated EMV Payment Processing.
If your restaurant does delivery, you need a robust point-of-sale system specializing in managing your complex delivery business. Thrive is a great choice to consider, and it’s a modern tablet point-of-sale designed from the start to handle delivery flawlessly.
Here’s an overview of how the software works. Once you take a delivery order, delivery fees are added based on your business rules. The dispatch green is the central point for managing deliveries. You can map the customer’s order to see how traffic is doing. You can see a 360 degrees street view of where you’ll be delivering to. From there, you’ll get driving directions from the restaurant, and with the Drive app, your drivers will always have order information at their fingertips. You’ll get arrival data and customer signatures and can always see where your drivers are located.
Thrive manages your drivers with intelligent features like banks and drops, flexible driver fees, mileage tracking, tip credit wages on the road, and rotating assignments. Driver banking features simplify settling checks, accounting for tips, and closing shifts at the end of the night with the assurance that all your cash is accounted for.
With the customer data collected, you’ll have some essential marketing data. Thrive POS can tell you who likes barbecue chicken pizzas, so you can promote that new Spicy BBQ sauce or find out who’s never ordered off your lunch menu. Market to your customers automatically with the integrated loyalty tool. Powerful delivery reports help you manage performance, respond to late deliveries and track drivers.
Here are a few of the top features:
Thrive is best for pizza and restaurants focused on delivery, and Thrive offers a comprehensive suite of built-in tools specifically for these types of environments.
Thrive pricing starts at $99 per month for 1 terminal and $149.00 per month for up to 3 terminals. Monthly costs increase as more features, such as delivery, are added. They do not have a free version, and there is no free trial, but they offer an online demo.
The Thrive POS system is an excellent choice for businesses that rely heavily on delivery. The software is easy to use and helps manage delivery times, driver fees, and customer data. The integrated loyalty tool and delivery reports are both valuable marketing tools. Overall, the Thrive POS system is an excellent choice for businesses that need a robust delivery solution.

John Raymond –
I got sold on so many “great” things Thrive could do for my business. It has been nothing but an ongoing nightmare. In the pizza business for 40 years, I have made few big blunders as bringing in Thrive. Stay away. Far away. Going on 5 months and still on tech support everyday, getting nowhere.
Loreen Glaman –
We’ve had Thrive’s “Coffee Shop Manager” for 10 years… Initially, the system and service was outstanding with several intelligent and willing people quickly taking our calls. However, over the past two years the service has declined drastically. We’ve had continuous issues and recently decided to purchase a new server to help combat them, as Thrive’s sole support person (we pay almost $1000 a year for this service and there is now only one person who can help us) can’t fix any of the issues and insists we need a need computer. We are trying to get it installed is a nightmare! We are a coffee shop, but the ONLY time they will do the install is between 7am and 2pm Monday – Thursday. This means we have to close our business as they refuse to do it after close, or on Sundays when we are not open.
I cannot stress enough how frustrating this has been. We’ve asked for additional assistance with absolutely no response. I hope they don’t go out of business, as we’ve invested over $20,000 in this system, but there is no way anyone would find them to be valuable when there are so many other great products – with great service! – available.
